The Star Wars series is a real phenomenon and has produced six movies, three original movies and then three prequels. Unfortunately Anakin turns to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader. The original trilogy takes up the story about 20 years later.
Since the movies, there have been animated series such as the recent Star Wars: The Clone Wars which has been showing on the Cartoon Network since October 2008. The Star Wars merchandising has also spawned numerous video games, board games, comics and books.
